DETAINEE MANAGEMENT

Detainee management module should be able to record the Detainee information, personal history of Detainees, information on associated Detainee, cell allotment, daily activity, operations details, and prisoner movement. It has functions for maintaining detainee info, cell allotment, detainee daily activity, detainee operation details, and prisoner movement and detainee reports.

The detainee info management enables us to capture data through demographics, offense details, and identification details.

The detainee report can be generated here. The Detainee report management enables us to view data and filter the detainees about based upon station and admission dates.

The Cell Allotment info management enables us to capture data about detainee booking with the location, FIR number and much more about booking details.

Detainee Daily Activity

The Daily Activity management facilitates to capture data about detainee attendance with date, session, and status.

Detainee operation detail tracks every task of the detainee with the status of completed or not completed. It also includes the details of the time period.

Prisoner Movement

The Prisoner Movement enables us to capture data about detainee’s movement based upon the category, date, and institution.

MEDICAL MANAGEMENT

Medical management allows the Prison Management to maintain the records on Medical screening activities during the new admission. The Prison Management has provision to upload the prior medical report and can update the medical screening process.

Medical Screening Info

Medical screening information captures all the detainee medical screening details. The medical screening information includes detainee name, administered by, screening start date, end date, screening status, and health status. It also has the option to upload medical reports and special diet instructions.

Medical Details

Medical details capture all the detainee medical screening details with the screening details of aborted, critical etc. It facilitates to generate the screening status of each detainee.

Initial Screening Assessment

Initial screening assessment encompasses to decide quickly based on medical screening of the detainees. This module facilitates to maintain the tenure of the medical screening period and medical administrator who is responsible for the medical screening process.

Medical History & Questionnaires

Medical history is a vital part of medical management. Our module has been developed to enable the disease during medical screening and maintain the previous medical history of the detainees. Some of the mental health screening maintained such as shortness of breath, heart problem, ulcers, neurocognitive, kidney trouble, fracture, broken bones, addicted to drugs & alcohols, psychiatric care, trauma, and depressive.

ATTENDANCE MANAGEMENT

Detainee Attendance management allows the Prison/Jail Management to record the roll-out of Detainee attendance on a daily basis, for all sessions which may be routine attendance and special attendance too. Prison or Jail Management can Record the Attendance tracking time, date of Attendance tracking, Highlights the Detainee Presence in terms of Count, In charge Officer Name and Detainee Population count in Correctional Services.

Attendance Report

Attendance report captures the attendance details of the detainees. It includes the station name, from the date and to date of the detainee. By using the details, you can generate the reports of the detainees.

Attendance Info

The attendance information has two types- specific attendance and routine attendance. The attendance information includes the detainee name, attendance session, attendance status, remarks, and the discharge index.

Attendance Details View

Attendance details view has the detainee operation details. It captures the details of attendance type, attendance session, attendance status, from and to date.

RELEASE MANAGEMENT

Releasing a detainee is time-consuming and requires sound planning to execute the onerous process. Plenty of work and pre-release preparations are involved in releasing a detainee. Releasing an inmate can be a daunting task for prison management to arrange things in a systematic way. NEXT, Release Management allows jail management to record and roll out the release procedures of detainees.

The module enables the users to access and enter the details with the reference to the court documents and period of imprisonment. Fingerprint verification is a mandatory process while a detainee exits the prison. A correctional officer or anyone who is authorized for the verification will be assigned to proceed with the process. The module includes fingerprint verification where the official can maintain the fingerprints under each detainee.

Release Information

Release information is mandatory for the release of a prisoner for a seamless release operation. The significant information should contain the release details of the detainee including the details of booking type, release officer, booking date, planned release date time, cell location, actual release date time, block number, release type, cell number, release status, bed number, and jacket ID. All these relevant data are stored in secured applications which can be used for clear verification during the time of release.

Release Management Strategy

This module has information about each potential visitor. The initial potential visitor list is the list of relatives and associates collected during the intake and additional proposed visitors is added.

Visitor Details

Visitor details facilitate to capture the visitor information of the detainees. It includes visitor name, visitor relation type, national identification category, national identification number, regular in time and out, contact number and address.

Visit Details

Visit details will automatically populate the visitors and their allocated time to visit the detainee.

Allowed & Not allowed Details

To prevent the not allowed visitors are significant in jail. Hence, our module facilitates to maintain the details of the allowed and not allowed visitor details of the detainees.

Visitor History

The visitor history of each detainee is maintained. The complete history of the visitors is captured using visitor history.

GRIEVANCE MANAGEMENT

The prime attribute for any successful prison system is maintaining accurate prison data and enable easy access. Prisons are established by international standards and constructed by local law, which will have profound regards for the law and human rights. Current prison system needs a high degree of automated system and cognizance. It is essential to identify the grievance of men and women prisoners. We should accept that a prison is a place where various types of human beings play a critical, so the prison management should function with righteous context. So if one part of the system is effected it will naturally affect the remaining process. The Prime concern would be to maintain ethical values and principles hand in hand with strict law and discipline. Prison management’s predominant core process is human management. When that’s the case issues raise might go beyond efficiency and effectiveness. Ethical behavior and legal behavior should not be muddled, but both are close concomitant. By which law and responsibility validate public organization. Grievance management module, allows the Prison or Jail Management to manage the raised Grievance and track the Detainee Grievance posted by the Prison Management for the approval. Prison official should be very cautious about each and every prisoner’s grievance and prisoner’s history. The Prison Management should have access for processing the Grievances in detailed and should be submitted to higher authority for further approval.

At this process, data should be accurate for the higher officials to take action. Message field allows the user to elaborate the grievance reason. It allows the user to view the Grievance status as well. Some of the Issue categories are Medical care, Classification action, Event participation, Telephone use and visitation procedure, Officer Conduct, Food, clothing, and bedding.

Grievance Information

Such prisoners should be actively engaged in some programs. A detailed grievance information report should be maintained in any circumstances. This module allows the user to capture the details of the grievance category, action taken by, grievance status, lodged date, action date, and grievance summary. Prison authorities should take necessary action to maintain strict control and order over notorious prisoners and they should equally look for vulnerable prisoners as well in court. Our solution aids in managing complicated detainee care and reinforce a dynamic system that is upright and transparent. NEXT manages escorting services reports which include court services, prison escort, fleet management details and command services from law enforcement.

The Prison Management should have the ability to update the court sentence details either for Remand or Convicted Detainees. It helps to maintain the records of Detainee case details belong to respective Offense categories and the Court hearing along with Court Appearance date and time for the further hearing.

The Prison Management should have provision to upload, view the court sentence, court hearing documents. Detainee case is handled by the Court; the Unique Court code can be mentioned. Prison Management has provision to add Location details of Court where Detainee has to be moved for a Court hearing or Court Sentence and Period of Imprisonment: Detainee is convicted, his Period of imprisonment can be maintained using from & to date.

Court Information

Procedural and physical documentation are inevitable features. Report generation depends on each prisoner. So officials should be aware of all the updated record information. Court information module is a dynamic solution which provides qualitative analysis reports. This module facilitates to manage the court details of each detainee. It includes the details of detainee classification, FIR number, court name, court code, judge name, prosecutor name, appearing date, sentenced date, imprisonment start date, sentenced details, imprisonment period and imprisonment period units. By all these accurate information easily accessible prison officials can be more cautious, prevent delays and be more effective with the court proceedings and updates.

CASE MANAGEMENT

Case management, which allows the Prison or Jail Management to record and manage the case and track of the Case Details. It helps to maintain the records of Detainee case details belong to respective Offense categories and the Court hearing along with Court Appearance date and time for a further hearing.

Case Information

Case information facilitates to capture the cases filed by each detainee. The details include case number, case stage, represented officer, hearing date, next hearing date, and court information.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Comprehensive property management is essential to manage and store the personal properties of a detainee. In order to prevent the detainee from doing further criminal acts and for the safety of other inmates & officers a proper understanding of this topic is necessary. This enables the admission and discharge officer to have a clear record of the inmate's personal belongings and to retain prohibited and unlawful properties.

The module gives a fair insight into the list of items that are permitted and prohibited according to the law. Prisoners are allowed to keep some personal belongings in their cells. Each prisoner has a cell property allowance that is calculated with a points system. Excess items of authorized property may be stored for the prisoner.

The property details of the detainee are captured. It includes the property type and details of the detainee. All the items of the detainee are recorded including the condition of the items, model, make and serial numbers. Valuable items such as jewelry, certificates, and credit cards are also recorded and kept in the locker room of the prison.

Prohibited and Unauthorized Property

NEXT, Property Management module provides the right guidelines for the prohibited & unauthorized property to avoid security breach and to rigidly follow the legal aspects. Some property is controlled or prohibited. Drugs, money, weapons and mobile phones are totally prohibited. If any of these items are found inside the prison, arrangements are made to dispose of the prohibited and unauthorized items. Any form of contraband is prohibited and considered as a criminal offense if taken into the prison property.

WATCH LIST

App Admin enables System Configuration and Setup. User Activation, Access Control Setup, Menu configuration can be done in a single place. Herein the Master Data Setup and Management is handled With User option, User Groups can be created for mapping roles and User Registration, Activation and Management can be done.

Master data configuration for Alert and Notification, Reference Items Management & Countries. In Configuration, the notification and alert messages can be set up and the dropdown options can also be configured using the reference items. Bulk data upload using .csv type files.

User

With User option, User Groups can be created for mapping roles and User Registration, Activation and Management can be done.

Access Control

Access control with master data of Menus & Pages. With Access Control, the edit, view, add and delete access can be defined for each role.

Cell Allotment Mapping

The cell allotment mapping can be done with the block number, cell number, and cell bed number mapping.

The detainee configuration can be done with institution details, movement type subcategory, crime category, prisoner crime, and station information.
